Every Cloud Is a Tooth

A Let It Out comic about trying not to think about tomorrow's dentist appointment, seeing teeth everywhere, and parking the thought until six.

Comic · Issue 11

Five-panel comic: the Let It Out sloth sits on a park bench with its paws over its ears trying not to think about the dentist, then finds the clouds and a hedge all shaped like teeth, writes a short note in a notebook beside a wall clock, waves calmly at a tooth-shaped cloud at the window while holding a mug and a book, and presents a Let It Out app call to action.

The sloth tries hard not to think about the dentist and suddenly sees teeth everywhere, from the clouds to the park hedge. The turn is jotting the worry down and giving it a time, six o'clock, then greeting it kindly when it drifts back. This fictional everyday example illustrates parking a worry rather than pushing it away, not a tested treatment. The final panel is a Let It Out app call to action.

  1. Panel 01

    DON'T THINK ABOUT THE DENTIST.

On a wooden park bench under leafy trees, the sloth squeezes its eyes shut and presses its paws to its head, frowning with effort. A small thought cloud with a tooth doodle floats nearby. The caption appears in a cream thought bubble.

  2. Panel 02

WHY IS EVERY CLOUD A TOOTH?

Still on the bench, the sloth looks up in puzzled dismay with a paw at its chin. Two fluffy clouds in the blue sky are shaped like molars, and a hedge on the path is clipped into a giant tooth. The caption appears in a cream thought bubble.

  3. Panel 03

    NOTED. SEE YOU AT 6.

Indoors at a round wooden table, the sloth smiles calmly while writing a few wavy lines in a small spiral notebook, a green mug beside it and a round wall clock behind. The caption appears in a cream speech bubble.

  4. Panel 04

    HELLO AGAIN. STILL 6.

Relaxing on a sage sofa with a steaming mug and an open book, the sloth gives a friendly wave to a small, sleepy-looking tooth-shaped cloud at the window; the other clouds are ordinary again and the notebook rests on the side table. The caption appears in a cream speech bubble.

  5. Panel 05

    LET IT OUT

On a deep teal background with leaf motifs, the sloth holds a phone with its back visible beside the brand name LET IT OUT. The tagline reads: PUT IT DOWN. COME BACK WHEN YOU CHOOSE. The sage button reads: GET THE APP.
